Spiritual Direction, a centuries-old Christian practice, invites others to seek a closer relationship with God. Spiritual directors are trained to listen, perceive, investigate, and uplift the seeker, helping them grow in faith and God's knowledge. The director and directed follow the Holy Spirit, seeking God's presence, accepting His invites, and embracing His influence. This transforming process strengthens faith in God.
Direction sessions enable open discussion on life. Discuss disappointments, anger, joy, gratitude, curiosity, fear, personal growth, and decisions. These issues arise in work, ministry, and relationships.
Holy Spirit-guided spiritual direction is a unique relationship between director and directee. The director is a companion during the direction session, while the Holy Spirit and directee lead. The director asks thought-provoking questions and prays with the directee as they grow closer to God.
NO ONE ELSE CAN WALK OR WORK OUT YOUR PURPOSE!
