My name is Lisa Fahey. I am an author, speaker, coach, and publisher. I am married to Pat, and we have two grown daughters.
In 2015, after discerning the call to write a women’s Bible study, I began writing for a group of women at my local church. I would write the study week by week, then bring the week’s study to the group so they could read through it and do the homework. The following week we would discuss their homework, give me feedback, and I would hand them the following week’s homework. Once I finished writing the study, one of the women asked me if they could make copies and send them to her friends and relatives. I asked her not to and blurted out that I would publish the study. My next thought was, how do I get my book published?
After researching the topic of publishing, I made some phone calls to a few self-publishing agencies, signed a contract, and eventually, my first book, Rise, Women of God, was published. Since then, three more books have been published; Simply. A Women’s Study on Ecclesiastes; Simply. Advent and Just As You Are, How Your Testimony Can Impact People In Ways You Never Thought Possible.
Writing a book takes tremendous time, effort, and energy. I desire to make the publishing process enjoyable for authors by using a streamlined approach and my qualified team.
